Rebecca Randall

BIO
Level-headed, good-natured, and consistently likeable, Rebecca is one of the most grounded team members. She's a great source of the rarest element, common sense, which makes her an unexpectedly important asset to their plans. In fact, she's the source of some of the team's wildest yet most doable schemes. She has a particular skill for seeing solutions to tricky problems, probably thanks to all her debugging experience. She works as a freelance programmer, web designer, and occasional hacker. Despite the wild events of the story, she takes it all in stride as best she can.
PAST
Rebecca's grandparents moved from India to Britain, and her parents from Britain to America; she grew up in England, so she still has the accent. She attended college in America, majoring in computer science, and met her partner and roommate Isabel somewhere along the way. She occasionally audits courses at a small university in the city just to keep learning, coincidentally including an ancient history course co-taught by Ry and Sinon. (The course was only offered once.)
POWERS AND ABILITIES
Rebecca doesn't have any known unusual abilities, but her common sense is a gift in its own right.
DESIGN NOTES: Primary
Rebecca's look is casual and comfy, with a colorful top, loose sweater with a fun (and slightly dark) graphic print, and jeans and boots. She has a few items - her small purse, glasses, and necklaces - and her overall aesthetic is very everyday and accessible. She's the most normal (and, arguably, most relatable) member of the character cast, and she looks like it, too.
DESIGN NOTES: Defining Traits
Rebecca's palette is light blue, dark blue, and purple. Though she only has one outfit so far, her style is distinctively casual. She loves small cute accessories, like her cat and dinosaur keychains, and her necklaces with a moon design and the Blender 3D software logo. She likes bootcut/flared jeans, future outfits would probably also include those.
